Uses : To support and immobilizes the Shoulder in neutral position, Sling provide non weight bearing on an affected front limb. Sling is a non-weight-bearing sling applied on the scapula front limb segment to protect the shoulder joint after injury. Its a binding technique used to stabilize a dislocated shoulder joint, Management of Scapula, Humeral Head and Neck and certain Humerus Fractures.

Description

Humeral Head and Neck and certain Humeral Fractures. The configuration of customize adjustable fabric with Velcro wrap allow vet to maintain require resting angle, manipulation of front limb & reduces the movement of the injured leg, preventing further injury and allowing it to heal faster. To apply an Velpeau sling correctly, flex the leg so that it’s held close to the body, then Velcro tape around the bottom portion of the leg and up over the shoulder & chest under supervision of vet. Veterinarians use this special binding technique for a wide range of conditions and reasons.
